"A Palestinian man sits in front of a section of Israel's separation barrier in the West Bank village of A-Ram, on the outskirt of Jerusalem Sunday July 10, 2005. Israel's separation barrier will cut off 55,000 Palestinian residents of Jerusalem from their city, Israel's Cabinet acknowledged Sunday, July 10, 2005, even as it decided to push ahead with the project over strident Palestinian objections and some U.S. misgivings." [Emphasis mine.]There was a suicide bomb attack on Tuesday in the Israeli seaside town of Netanya, north of Tel Aviv. The first such attack against the Israelis in four months. I would suggest that the official Israeli acknowledgement and the Palestinian attack are connected.
