There are, it is claimed, 500,000 CCTV cameras in London. It is further reported that the metropolis is the most heavily surveilled city in the world. Today, The Wall Street Journal, which earlier summarized the invasion and occupation of Iraq as one of the 'world's most hostile takeovers', has an interesting report on the city's CCTV.
