The Stones' was a fun 45 when it came out in '65. And it gave voice to the zeitgeist: youthful raw energy and a railing against the alienation, frustration and limitations of contemporary life. Think I prefer the raw energy of the original version - this one's a little too avante-garde for me. Still, one man's fish is another man's poisson...
