Visual fragments of a life on a little island in the South China Sea
Think I prefer the raw energy of the original version - this one's a little too avante-garde for me. Still, one man's fish is another man's poisson...
The Stones' was a fun 45 when it came out in '65. And it gave voice to the zeitgeist: youthful raw energy and a railing against the alienation, frustration and limitations of contemporary life. Bjork and Harvey, too avant-garde? I have no idea what yr term means in that context. But like you say, to each his (or her) own. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!
