I generally shoot "manual'. In this case, 1/20 sec, f/5.6, 1SO 200. Handheld. It was just before 6pm on Thursday, twilight time. That means the streetlights and stuff are on but there is still some natural light in the sky.
The colours? That's how they came out of the box. Almost. I use google's (free) photo editor Picasa. I clicked on "Auto Contrast" to see how it looked. It made the sky a little less dark . . . voila!

Love the colours in the photo. Are they natural or filtered (or otherwise technically altered)?
And apropros of nothing: what great weather we've been having, huh? :)
