The last ten days have been unseasonably hot. Today, it was hotter than hot (35C).
Not for long.
Typhoon Hagupit is skirting the north of The Philippines and heading into the South China Sea. The typhoon is "relatively fast moving and mature".
The Number 1 has already been raised.
Although Hagupit is forecast to pass well south of a little island in the South China Sea, Hong Kong Observatory notes it may be necessary to raise the Number 3 sometime tomorrow, Tuesday.
