Tin Hau festivities, 2012
During daylight hours for the past four days, dragon/lion dance crews have been criss-crossing the village. There has been much beating of drums, crashing of symbols, and blowing of cornets.
Why? It's the run-up to Tin Hau's birthday, which this year falls on 13 April. Tin Hau, Goddess of the Seas.
